RIFLE SHOOTING
The Karori Rifle Club will meet at Trentham to-morrow to fire the musketry section of their annual service shooting. This service shooting, which is divided into two sections, musketry and service, conforms with the requirements of the Defence Department, and the marksman who compiles the highest aggregate score becomes the holder of the Willoughby Cup for one year. The Petone Rifle Club will fire a competition counting for the club championships and Flaws Cup at Trentham to-mor-row at 500 and 600 yards. The teams match against the Opaki Rifle Club has been postponed for one week. Owing to the Sommerville range not being available at Trentham to-morrow afternoon the Suburbs Defence Rifle Club will fire on the Seddon range, at 800 and 900 yards, 10 shotsat each range. This match. is the fifth' match in the second series of the club's championship.
