\ CANBERRA, 4th December. Australiau imports for the first four months of the present financial year have declined by almost SO per cent., while the trade balance moved from an adverse one in 1929 of almost £16^000,000 to a favourable one this year of £4,921,035. Imports for the same period last year amoimtied to £50,777,631 worth of goods, while I for this year they, declined to £27,212,155.
