LONDON WOOL POSITION

(Received sth-December, 12.5 p.m.) . LONDON, 4th December. Offerings at the wool sales to-day were 9432 'bales, of which 3062 were New Zealand. About 8325 were sold. There was a large offering of greasy Merinos and a good supply of scoureds, with a medium lot of crossbreds. Good general competition was shown, but prices were unchanged. Realisations: New Zealand scoured Merino, "Dunstan Downs," lSd to 17% d; greasy crossbred, "Caudh," 7%d to 7d.
