MR. MUNNS'S DECLARATION
REFORM LEADER REBUKED
(By Telegraph.) (Special to "The Evening Post.") AUCKLAND, This Day. "We do not want to fuse," declared Mr. G. C. Munns, M.P. for Koskill, and Senior Government Whip, addressing a post-sessional meeting at Sandringham last evening. "We will, not'be dragged at the heel of any other party," he added. '.'Reform offered to assist us as long as we did the right thing, but because we would not fall in lino behind Mr. Coates at- the first chance ho moved a no-eonndence motion, and prayed that it would not be carried, as he did not want to face the country. The Reform Party is looking for fusion. Where have these suggestions for fusion come from? Not from the United Party. Mr. Coates wants us to fuse, and he names seven conditions, including one to reduce wages. We do not want to fnse, and we will not fuse."
