(British Official Wireless.) . (Received 4th Deeenibor, noon.) BTJGBY, 3rd December. Miss W. Spooner, accompanied by Plying Officer Edwards, left Croydon at 7 o'clock this morning. The LondonCapo Town flight was accomplished in I nine days last October by the South African airman, B. Causparenthus, and |in 9} days last April by Captain Barnard and the Duchess of Bedford. Miss Spooner is flying in a specially fitted De Soutter monoplane equipped with 120 h.p. Gipsy engine. Seventy gallona of petrol are carried, giving a range of 1200 miles.
