SAVING MONEY
The Postmaster-General's Department has notified suburban councils, that itt future tho dials of clocks in Post Office towers will not be illuminated at night. This action follows as a result of the general economy scheme recently introduced. Councils have been requested by the Department to provide lights for clocks (says the . "Melbourne Ago"). The dial of the General Post: Offico clock will still be lighted at nighj at the expense of the Department,
