COMMITTEE AT WANGANUI

(By Telegraph—Press Association.) WANGANUI, This Day. At a public meeting convened by the Mayor it was decided to set up a committee to co-operate with the Unemployment Board. The Mayor stated that the offer of £100 from the Wanganui Aero Club for unemployed relief work on/the airport would be subsidised £2 for £1, and a certain number of men would probably start on Wednesday.
