AWARDS TO SCOUTS

(By Telegraph—Press Association. y CHBISTCHUECH, Ist December. The Chie-f Scout, Lord Baden Powell, bas awarded the association's silver cross to Scouts David Corstorphine, Basil Crosby, and Lymburn Cowan for rescuing three boys from drowning in the Mangapapa Eiver on 29th December, 1929. The Scouts will receive the decoration from the Chief Scout at the AVellington wily on 28th February.
