MINERS LEFT NO OPTION
(Eeceived Ist December, noon.) LONDON, 30th November. The South f Wales acceptance of the spread-over arrangement, even temporarily, is regarded as a definite defiance of the National Federation's decision. The district secretary, Mr. Tom Bichards, who is also president of the Miners' Federation, declared that the owners suddenly withdrew their demands for a drastic reduction of wages to-day and put up terms for. a spreadover, therefore South Wales was left no option but to accept the arrangements.
