PREMIUM ON GOLD.
LONDON, 2Sth November. .Referring to the proposed Australian gold bonus of £1 per oz. on all gold produced in excess of last year's production, the "Daily Telegraph's" city editor says that the advantage of a gold bonus to mining companies is obvious, but what return the Government will got for paying 105s per ounce for gold, which cannot be worth more than 85s overseas is not clear.
