ACCIDENTS
There were several accidents at tkf week-end. Injuries to his left shoulder • and abrasions to his legs' were received by Alfred Davie, a school boy, who lives at 116, Mem street, as a result of falling off his bicycle at 6.30 p.m. on Saturday. , . . . Through falling down some steps at 32, King's road, Lower Hutt, shortly; after 4 o 'clock on Saturday afternoon, Miss M. Millward, of 175, The Esplanade, Petone, broke her left leg. She was attended to by Dr. Mirams. •Through being knocked down by % bicycle'in Mem street on Saturday afternoon, Nancy May Ivory, a child, residing at 31, Hall street, had her right thigh broken. As a result of slipping and falling heavily to the ground early Sunday, morning, B. Allen, a tunneller, -who lives at 121, Tasman street, fractured . his lower jaw. He was attended to by; Dr. Shirer. A severe cut on the left forearm "was received by P. A. Maloney, a garage foreman, when a window which he was closing became detached and fell on. him. The accident occurred; in Jessie street shortly after.6 o'clock last evening, The Free Ambulance took the injure^ people to the Hospital.
