NAVAL MOVEMENTS
H.M.S. Veronica is ■ due at Wellington on 19th December from Auckland. She will remain in port 'until 10th January, but no official programme has ao fax* been prepared for the vessel's stay here. 11.M.5. Laburnum and H.M.S. Dunedin will be together for exercises in the Hauraki Gulf during the first week in December. The Dunedin then returns to Auckland, where the crew will commence their Christmas leave. H.M.S. Diomede, at present en route from Great Britain to New Zealand, is due at Nukuhiva on Sunday or Monday. She should arrive at Auckland on 16th December.
