TENNIS AFFILIATION
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHKISTCHUBCH, This Day. .<cThis is one of tho most important decisions' that has faced the ,New Zealand Lawn Tennis Association for many; years," said Mr. "W. Goss, the chairman, at a meeting of the Canterbury*, Lawn. Tennis Association, when a recommendation, that tho New Zealand Catholic Lawn Tennis Association he granted direct affiliation to tho IST.Z.L.T.A. was considered. After a long discussion it ivas cloeided to instruct the Canterbury delegates to oppose the proposal. The meeting decided to oppose th« proposed alterations in the rules governing tho Wilding Shield and Xunnelcj; Casket competitions.
