WINNING TICKET IN A SWEEV-P

LONDON, 22nd November. Two clerks in the Ministry of Agriculture in Northern Ireland diviclfl £204,764 as a result of holding the win>ning ticket in the Irish swoop on tke'i Manchester November Handicap.

The second prize was won by A. P. Dawe, 35 years of age, who was born in Vancouver. He received the surprise of a lifetime on Saturday when ho received a cable informing him that he won 409,500 dollars. Dawe, who was the proprietor of an automobile garage, announced immediately that ho would clear his mortgage, then deed his business to his two youthful employees. Ho is planning for a long holiday trip.
