EVANS BAY CLUB

The Evaus' Bay Yacht and Motor-boat Club held a motor-launch, race in the Bay during the afternoon. The Felix secured first place, with Oarere second. Six Evans Bay yachts which sailed round to Port Nicholson were held up by the head wind, and arrived too late to take part in the races. The yachts concerned yere the Violet, Cappy Ricks, Clyde, Spi'ay, Little Haste, and Indolence.
