MANOR PARK CLUB
During the week-end a flag competition was held and resulted in a tie for Mrs. Burns and Mr. B. Clarke, who each ran out o£ strokes at the nineteenth hole. A bogey' competition resulted in a win for D. Cody (9), who returnee a card of i up, doing 76.0ff the stick. The second place fell to J. Burns, all square. The medal contest for a trophy presented by Mr. H. G. Robertson was won by Mrs. Butler, with the splendid score of 6~> net. The ladies received sis strokes on their handicap, during the summer. D. Porter's 68 gave him second place. The greens and fairways over the weekend were; in .magnificent condition, and considering that the club has completed arrangements for the purchase of a tractor ad mower, there should be further im-provements-to the condition of the course.
