WHALING SHIPS

The Norwegian whaling ship Sir James Clark Rosa is at present on her way to the whaling base for this season's operations.' i^he does not call at Port Chalmers thi3 time, but puts in at AVellington for fuel oil. leaving there for Stewart Wand, where she loads supplies and takes on board twenty men from Now Zealand, about 10th October. Most of the whale chasers ure now nt Stewart Island.
