PREPARING FOR CONFERENCE

The Wellington Branch of the New Zealand Trained Nurses' Association held a general meeting at the Nurses' Club.. Kensington street, yesterday. The president, Miss Kohn, was in the chair, and there was a representative gather-

ing of nurses. The business of the meeting was the discussion of remits for the annual conference, which will open in Christchurch on' 30th September. Subjects dealing with nursing and private duty nursing wore well discussed. . " '

The following delegates to the conference were appointed:—Miss Cookson, Mrs. Carvossa, Miss Moore, Miss Lambic, Miss Silcock. The president invited nominations for tho council for the ensuing year.
