JAPANESE SUPPORT,
'■'Japan will take about the same quantity of wool this year as she took last season, provided the prices are right," is the opinion of Mr. Charles H. Jones, buyer for Mitsu Bishi Shoji Kaisha, Ltd. Mr. Jones,, ••uhile in Japan recently, went through the woollen mills, and they all ■seemed to be working very -well. '"The Australian tariff," Mr.- Jones added,'"had caused a lot of unrebt in Japan, where the business people atid merchants complain' that while they take our wool we in return deal harshly with their silks and similar exports.'' Mr. 0. Konishi, icpiisenting Iwai and Co., Osaki, gave it as his opinion that the price of wool might advance.. .He would not be surprised if it did. ; Business was showing an improve-ment-in Japan, and other countries, and that might lead to increased prices.
