FOOTBALL "FLIERS"
Two members of the Wairarapa Bugby football team occupied only half an hour on the journey from Wairarapa to Wellington on Saturday. They made tho trip in the Wairarapa Aero Club's 'plane, leaving Martinborough at about 1 p.m. and arriving at Bongotai some thirty minutes later. The players who adopted the new mode of travel to fulfil a football engagement were A. V. Jury (who piloted the 'plane) and F. Fuller. Jury was an emergency for the Wairarapa team, but the trip by air did not affect Fuller, who scored thirteen of Wairarapa's nineteen points.
