AUCKLAND, This Day.
After breaking into a shop, which they found empty, thieves during Saturday night entered the next door drapery shop of Henry Hope, in Queen street. They inspected his stock, selected women's silk stockings of the better quality to a total value of £50, and packed them in boxes, then rubbed finger prints off tho windows and doors with a towel, and departed with the booty. .
