TWO ARMED HOLD-UPS

SYDNEY, 21st September. There were two armed hold-ups last night.

Ernest Bussell, garage employee, was compelled to hand over £20 to a couple of footpads, who menaced him with a revolver at Waterloo, and at Paddington John Harris was waylaid by a man, who searched his pockets and stole five shillings.
