MORNINGTON CLUB

The final for the Johnston trophy was decided on the Mornington links on Saturday, and resulted in a win for E. A. Perrett, with 89-24—65, Strathmore coming second with 81-12—69. F. Wells was third, and H. J. Shanks fourth. Next Saturday the Mornington Club will play an inter-club match with Shandon, at Shandon, commencing at 1 o'clock. In the play-off for the Williams Cup, the following were the cards handed in: Evans and Henry, 3 up; Henderson and Carter, 2 down; Shanks and Comisky, 3 down.

The competition to decide the senior and junior championships of the Mornington Club will be commenced next weekend.
