Mr. Ballantyne, junior, dispatched 20 runners from the Scottish Harrier Club when the club's' consolation race vas held at Miramax" .on Saturday afternoon. A trail of three miles was laid by A. L. Stevens, and the handicaps ranged from scratch to three minutes. The lace was won by Clements, who has been show* ing improved form during the season. Woods was second and L. Dawkina third. The fastest time was put up by Violich, with B. Lawe.r secorfd fastest. At the conclusion of the race the runners and their friends were-given afternoon tea.
