WEDDINGS
The wedding- took place at St. .'Andrew's'Presbyterian Church, Hastings, of Ellen, eldest daughter of Mr. _anQ Mrs. W. M'Kain, Hastings, and Ernest eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. A. Jellings, Hastings. The Rev. R. B. Waugh officiated, and Mr. 'Lance Craig was at the organ. . The bride's dainty frock was of; white georgette, trimmed with silk lace. Her embroidered tulle veil was arranged with a coronet of orange blossoms, and she carried a bouquet of pink everlasting daisies. The bridesmaids, Misses Florence Henderson (Wellington) and Mavis Clark, both wore pink lace frocks, slightly dipped at the back, and each was finished with a large satin bow and cords. They wore silver and pink headbands, and carried bouquets to tone. Viola and Margaret M'Kain were flower-girls, their dainty frocks being pink and lemon respectivfely, made with scolloped frills and floral embroideries. A tie o£ ribbon fell from the shoulders, and they wore headbands to tone. They carried golden baskets of flowers. Mr. Len Dunn was best man, and Mr. Alex M'Kain groomsman. A reception was held at the Rialto tearoom, the twentyfirst birthday of the bride's brother being celebrated at the same time. Mrs. M'Kain wore groy'brocho niarocain, with a brown sealette coat and a hat to tone. Mrs. Jellings wore a cinnamon brown crepe de chine frock and hat. The bride's travelling suit was of grey woollen repp, with hat to match, and a grey sealette coat, the gift of the bridegroom.
