Some of these it was said, were selling direct to retailers, and we c Sting rates below those fixed by the Board. In this way, agents claimed, a good deal of harm was bemg done to clearances of Board lines. The Board thereupon instructed its inspectors to watch carefully for all cases of this nature. At present the Board fa exporting about 5000 eases per week. It is hoped, however, that the Government will issue eggs as rations to the unemployed, and the Board expects to move between 20,000 and 30,000 dozen per week in this mannei. Other lines of eggs were selling well.
