THE KOSMOS SAILS

The whaling factory ship Kosmos, accompanied by her seven chasers, left Wellington at 11.45 o'clock this morning for the Boss Sea. At 8 o'clock the Kosmos pulled out from her berth at the Pipitea Wharf to the stream, where she reloaded the explosives that have, been stored for the last fow days at Shelly Bay. Prior to sailing, throe stowaways were found an board, and they were immediately sent ashore again. The Kosmos intends to carry out whaling operations in the vicinity of the Ross Sea, and should be away for six months, returning to Wellington about n«ot March.
