SYDNEY OFFICIALS ON TRIAL'

SIDNEY, 19th September.

The trial is proceeding of four officials of the Australian Federal Life and General Assurance Company on * charge of conspiracy to defraud policyholders.

The accused arc Vivian Partridge, managing director; James Cochrane, ■; accountant; Ralph Paul, secretary; and * Harry Roach, accountant. A fifth man, named Albert Smith, . was discharged from the case, there bein" no evidence to implicate him.
