THE BABY PRINCESS
CHURCH OF'CHRISTENING
PRESBYTERIAN OR ANGLICAN ?
LONDON, 18th September
The "JS rows Chronicle" .explains that the delay*, in christening the baby Princess is due to a Presbyterian-Anglican
disagreement.
The Scots consider that as the baby was born in Scotland sho should be baptised according to the ceremonies of th. Presbyterian Church. The Anglican ecclesiastics, on the other hand, are anxious that she should be christened either at Buckingham Palace or Windsor Castle, where tho Archbishop of Canterbury would perform the ceremony.
