MESSAGE

(Received 20th September, 11 a.m.) BUGBY, 19th September.

On the departure of members of the British Economic Mission to the Far East, the Foreign Secretary, Mr. A. Henderson, to-day sent the chairman a message wishing them success and adding: "Your visit to Japan is a sign of the uninterrupted friendship so happily existing between the two countries. To China your visit will be the assurance of the deep interest which the British Government and people have in that country's welfare."
