LOWER CHARGES
WIRELESS AND CABLE MESSAGES (Beceived 19th September, 11 a.m.) LONDON, 18th September. The Imperial Communications Company announces that after the conclusion of the agreement with the South African Government providing for combined working of wireless and cables the charges on messages to South Africa will be equalised from Ist October. It is hoped that with the expected conclusion of agreements to equalise rates to Australia, the rates on messages to India and South America will be reduced by 4d a word on. ordinary messages, and 643 on Press .messages,
