INDIAN TERRORISTS
ATTEMPT AT DERAILMENT
DELHI-CALCUTTA EXPRESS;
DELHI, 18th September.
An attempt to derail an. express train from Delhi to Calcutta near Karchara failed.
A goods train which preceded it was derailed ami the engine and twelve wagons telescoped. The crew escaped injury.
A large section of \the permanent way was tampered with, the rails being placed upside-down and the fishplates and bolts removed.
