Primary, school holidays for next your, as. suggested' by the Education Department, were endorsed by tho Wellington Education... Board yesterday. The dates set.out in the Department's circular wore as'follows: —.
First term: From' Monday, 2nd February, to Friday, Sth May.(l 4 weeks); holidays, 2 weeks.'
Second term: Prom Monday, 25th May, to Friday, 21st August (13 weeks); holidays, '2.weeks and one day. Third term: 'From Tuesday, Sth September,, to Friday, 18th December (14 weeks and 4 days); holiday, G weeks.
Teachers' examination: Tuesday, 25th August, to Saturday, sth September.
Comjmencing date of 1932 school year (primary): Monday, Ist February, 1932.
