JOHNSONVILLE SALE.
Messrs. Wright, Stenhe'nson and Co., Ltd., and Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on Johnsonyille sale held yesterday as follows:—In spite of the inclement weather, there was a large attendance of the public present at yesterday's sale. We offered an average yarding of prime quality bullocks, do female stock coming forward. The sheep yarding was larger than usual. Bullocks met with a good sale, prices showing no alteration as compared with .last week's rates. Wethers,. which comprised of a few penß of shorn sheep, the first of the season, were in good demand, whjle ewes met with a keen sale at last, week's rates. Hoggets were yarded in larger ■ number than of late, and a total clearance was effected, prices being firm. Spring lambs were in. keen demand at last week's quotations. We quote: Heavy bullocks, £17, £16 los, £16 10s, £16 7s 6d, £16' ss; medium-weight bullocks, £15 los, £15 10s, £15 ss, £15 3s 6d; bullocks, £14 10s, £14 sb, £14 2s 6d, £13 15s; extra heavy woolly wethers, 325; extra, heavy shorn wethers, 20s 6d, 27s 6d; hw.vy wethevs, 31s, 30s 6d, 30s, 29s 6d;' good medium wethers. 2Ss 9d, 2Ss 6d, 28s 3d, 28s 2d, 27s Od; light and unfinished wethers, 26s 6d, 25s 6i.1, 245, 123s 6d; heavy ewes, 25s 6d, 255, 24s Oil, 24s Sd, 24s 6d, 23s lOd; owes, 22s Od, 22s 3d, 2ls 9d, 20s 6d, 20s; hoggets, 245, 23s 7d, 23s 3d, 19s 3d; lambs, 28s 2d,' 2Ss, 27s 9d 27s -6d, 275.
