SIR OTTO NIEMEYER
FINANCIAL CO-OPERATION
EMPIRE AND THE WORLD
The visiting Bank of England export, Sir Otto Niemeyer, was entertained at morning. tea at Parliament House today by the Acting-Prime Minister and members of both Chambers of the Legislature. The Acting-Prime Minister (the Hon. E. A. Ransom) briefly extended a welcome to Sir Otto, who expressed pleasure at meeting so many representative New Zealanders, and referred to his impressions of New Zealand. Sir Otto also stressed the need for co-operation between the various countries of the Empire, and also internationally, in financial matters.
