Sir, —A certain section. of the public who take an intelligent interest in diet and hygiene and- who have benefited thereby object to being classed as "faddists." Dr. Hutchinson's remarks at the B.M.A. gathering (as cabled out from Winnipeg) have been strongly condemned as misleading to the publicA large proportion of people are only too glad to have the excuse of ignoring common-sense methods of health diet, and healthy living. It is contended that the valuable propaganda efforts of the Nctt Zealand School Medical Inspectors are largely' discounted by medical men bucß as 'Dr. Hutchinsou belittling tiie importance of deep breathing and the food value of wholemeal bread, milk, and fruit.—l am, G C" WHOLEMEAL, j
