CASHIER PLEADS GUILTY

MASTEETON, This Day

Gordon Frederick Seandrett, a married man, was arrested yesterday by Detective Jarrold on a charge of embezzlement of £491 3s 6d while employed by the Wairarapa Farmers' Cooperative Association, Ltd., as cashier at the Masterton office. Seandrett appeared before Mr. J. Miller, S.M., in the Magistrate's Gourt. He pleaded guilty, and was committed to tho Supreme Court at Wellington for sentence. The defalcations occurred over a period of ten months. Bail was allowed in the amount of £300.
