Inglis presiding. ij\ cheque for £8 Os 6d was received i'roin the OtaH Volunteer ITire Brigade, lieing -the proceeds of a dance in aid <if tluj Red Cross Society's relief work. .The 'comniittee expressed warm appreciation of the efforts of the brigade and-decided to send a letter of acknow..l'.'dgmerit'..' Twenty-two .new cases, in i mo?t of which employment was sought, •\veiv. considered and some of them were referred to people who have offered jobs.
