A cable message was'sent on 4th September by the secretary of the United States Lawn Tennis Association to the Australian tennis authorities declining the invitation for a visit to Australia. This was due to inability to get together a representative teani at th« time desired. A letter has beeu sent explaining that-players are unable to leave colleges or businesses to make the trip to Australia....
