' Stribling, despite recent complaints of a "bruised hand," handled."Yon Porat easily. | The twenty-one thousand spectators j who were present favoured the winner, but did not expect such a quick victory. Yon Porat clinched and missed his blows, while Stribling bore in with repeated lefts to the face, head, and stomach, and an occasional right to the face.Stribling's victory was easily the most noteworthy of. his career. He showed great cloverness and tied up his opponentwith body blows and hammered his jaw until he dropped flat on his back, and lay there without a move while he was counted out. The end came twenty seconds before the conclusion of tho first round.
