Shareholders inivthe; Briseis Tin and General Mining 'Qo.i Ltd., Derby' (Tasmania), -haying ;failed to give suificient Support to a plan ta reopen the company's mine following the destruction of the workings by. floods in - April, 1929, the directors, have decided to place the company into liquidation. The Briseis is' one of the'oldest tin mines in Tasmania,-and was- a regular dividend payer. The Bank-of Australasia hasl now been authorised to return application money to shareholders who subscribed for shares in the \ proposed new company. ;
