MOTOR-CAR ON FIRE.

Stated to have been stolen from the Taranaki street parking area, a motorcar, owned by Mr. Malcolm Mclntyre, of 18, Marshall street, Karori, was found burning on the reclamation ground at Thorndon quay on Saturday night. The Fire Brigade was called, but the car was severely damaged. It was insured in the Ocean Office for £225.

Be prepared. See that you have adequate insurance on your house and furniture. Consult the Mercantile and General Insurance Company, Ltd., Panama Street, Wellington.—Advt.
