' , (Received 2nd May, noon.) WASHINGTON, Ist May. Lieutenant-Colonel Woods/ president of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce, told the United Stages Chamber of Com 7 merce that' the "ruthless enactment" in the Tariff Bill preventing the sale of Canadian goods in the United States was causing a sentiment of injustice; to spread over the Dominion, and the 20 per cent, loss of trade which would result from its passage was_ not as important as the spirit being created thereby. ■ '
