The Legislative Council has passed the second reading.' '. '?'■■'■. .' ■"' : The installation will'be carried out on, five courses, namely, Flemington, Caulfield, Williamstown, Moonoe Valley, and Ascot. ■':''■ The State Premier, Mr. E. J. Hogan, expects the totalisator to be yielding revenue at the end of the year. It is many years since the first attempt was made in the Victorian Parliament to legalise the totalisator.
