Captain W. W. Hender has been appointed to the command of the Waiotapu. Captain W. 11. D. Gardner has joined tho Kahika after holidays. Captain A. H. Prosser recently took command of. the Katoa, relieving Captain A. H. Howie for instructions. Captain W. W. Fish Is being appointed to tho Kurow, relieving Captain G. A. Grey for Mr W. Colo' recently rejoined the Kaituna as chief officer after holidays, relieving Mr. S. A Smith, who is transferring to the Kamonii in a similar capacity, relieving Mr. J. J. Barnard for orders. Mr A. B. Fraser Is joining the Kakariki as chief officer at Melbourne, relieving Mr. i. 11. Davis for holidays. Mr. G. W. Godfrey has relieved Mr. H. L. 1. Brown, chief officer of the Waiotapu, for holiJ.
