TO-MORROW'S ATTRACTIONS
In view of .the Important representative engagements ahead, this season's Rugby club matches are causing exceptional interest, and, apart from the performances of the different teams, the showings of the individual-, players arc being -watched. Spectators at Athletic. Park to-morrow should see a keen and interesting game in the Athletic-Oriental fixture. Athletics new blood showed that it was willing and able in last -week's game against Petqno, when the team's play was very attractive. Porter and Heazlewood, the two All Blacks, in addition to stiffening tip the •side,1 can be relied upon to furnish the public -with some Rugby tit-bits. Oriental are also strong..this season. . Their pack is, likely to~ give Athletic a hard battle, and if it can come out on top the backs will be-,behind it to give the required support.. At Newtown Park, Old Boys, who defeated .last year's champions in the opening match, wil. be opposed to Marist, who also scored a win in the first game. Old Boys and Marist are old rivals who eiiii be-relied upon to provide a hard and interesting game. . \At Petone the local team will be opposed ■• to Berhampore. Poneke will meet Hutt, at'Hutt, and University will cross the harbour, to play the Bay. team at Eastbourne. In view of the recent controversy regarding the Wellington team's relegation to the senior B grade, special interest attaches to the curtain-raiser at Athletic Park, in which Wellington will be opposed to Mirainar.
