• (Received 30th April, 9 a.m.) VANCOUVER, 29 th April. -The Customs have closed tho local port to parrots arid love birds, following an outbreak of parrot disease, which is-traced to birds recently arrived from Yokohama. All parrots have been ordered to be destroyed. A large part of the infected shipment already aent to Eastern Canada is being traced. There are six cases of the disease and .two are likely to be fatal.
