TAXI-DRIVER MURDERED

MELBbURNE, 29th April. Horace Walpole, aged 36, a car driver,,was found murdered in his car between Queenscliff and Geelong. He was a well-known figure on tho taxi ranks at Geeloug. He received an engagement last night, since when he had been missing. He was shot from behind, a bullet entering the head. The body was covered with a rug. Robbery was not the motive, as money was found in his pockets.
