LONDON, 29th April. _ -'Bradman is improving. Kippax is remaining in bed. He will go to Worcester on Wednesday, but will not play. After studying the Board of Control contract, Mr. Kelly decided that nothing therein prevents cricketers accepting contracts to use their autographs or photographs, and consequently he is not taking any - action, but nevertheless he i£ discountenancing the proposal. It is Understood that he regards it as "a bi'each of tho spirit of the Board- of Control contract. It is a case_ of the goose and the golden egg again. • The > cricketers met privately to discuss the situation.
