ACTIVITIES AT ROTORUA

His Excellency the Governor-General and Lady Bledisloe and party this morning visited Botorua High School, the Maori School of Arts and Crafts, i public institutions, and the Fairy 1 Springs. I In tlio afternoon they made an ex- ' tended tour of the thermal regions at "Whakarewarcwa, guided by Guide 1 Eangi. Mita Taupopoki welcomed them at I the model pa and accompanied them | through the village, where, a demonj stration of Maori -cooking was given. The party then adjourned to the I Geyser Hotel, where after tea Mita presented a carvqd taiaha to Lady ; Bledisloe on behalf of a section of the Arawa tribe. The party attended, a Maori entertainment to-night.
